Our Staff
Of course, Red Box wouldn’t be anything without our dedicated and hardworking staff! At the beginning of the year, we said goodbye to one of our longest serving members of the team, Tom Burnham, who was our very first service technician hired 31 years ago!
Long-time colleagues Jon Hawkins (General Manager) and Vicky Earl (Accounts Manager) are celebrating 20 years with us. Their loyalty and commitment reflect the values we hold dear.

Vicky
“I have worked at Red Box for over 20 years, and over that time the business has grown as has my role. I started working part time managing the accounts and customer database, balancing studies, home, and a new work life routine. Red Box was very supportive and flexible during this period. Over the years my role has evolved and my responsibilities have increased. I am now full time, splitting my time between the office and working from home. I still look after the accounts and customer database but now I also take care of HR and I manage extinguisher hires for events ranging from Chelsea Flower Show to small private functions. I give support to our other departments when needed, so I have plenty of variety, which I enjoy. We have a good strong team, and that helps the business continue to grow.”

“Now into my 21st year with the company, I can hardly believe where the time has actually gone, as it only seems like yesterday that I walked through the door to take up a sales position here. Fast forward 20 years and I feel extremely privileged to now be heading up the team here in the role of General Manager.
I often reflect back to my football days where team ethics and the importance of leading from the front have always been so valuable to me. I try to inspire those around me with my experience, knowledge, passion, and drive to succeed. We always aim to provide a service to our clients that we would wish to receive ourselves. Going home each day knowing that we have represented the brand with complete integrity on every occasion gives me great satisfaction!
As a company, I’m extremely proud to be where we find ourselves today, having overcome some very big hurdles along the way. It really is a joy to come to work in such pleasant surroundings, working with such a great team and also for an incredibly supportive owner. I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead but have every confidence that by applying our key values, Red Box Fire Control will have continued success for many more years to come.”
In addition to our long serving staff, we’ve also seen several new faces join the team this last year.
