Fire Warden Training
About the Course
It is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for employers to arrange training for all members of staff. Staff that have been designated specific duties during an emergency could benefit from our fire warden training course.
This course is suitable for employees that have been given the responsibility of taking a more supervisory role in the event of a fire. They are usually identified as Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals and their duties are an important part of fire safety awareness.
The purpose of this course is to educate Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals about the role and responsibility for fire safety they are undertaking, as well as best practice solutions in the case of an emergency.
What you'll learn
As well as the standard Fire Safety lessons, Fire Warden Training includes learning the following:
- The role and responsibilities of the Fire Warden or Fire Marshal
- Evacuation drill management, evacuation procedures, and human behaviour in a fire
- Choosing and using firefighting equipment, including practical use (See Fire Extinguisher Training)
- Liaising with the Fire Brigade
The Outcome
These training sessions include PowerPoint and video presentations, in addition to practical fire extinguisher lessons in order to give your Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals the knowledge they need to keep your business safe.
A group certificate will be issued free of charge listing the names of attendees once you complete the course. Alternatively individual certificates may be provided at an additional cost.
